i make shiny things: Not cool Urban Outfitters, not cool.

I just saw this in my Tumblr feed. I’d heard a lot about Urban ripping off stuff or near copying designers, but stealing this idea and giving it the same name AND stealing the copy from the own designers website seems outrageously bully-like to me….I haven’t shopped at Urban in a while, and with all the love I have for craft fairs and my recent Etsy shopping spree, I think I might just have to stop shopping there all together. Anthropologie might be a bit harder to give up on, but I’ll certainly try my damnedest. And maybe buy a Texas necklace while I’m at it.
